2010 ACAC Clay Court Classic

Being held this year on July 17-18 at ACAC. Deadline to register is July 15. Men and Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles tournaments for both an A and a B Division.

Boys and Girls Club - Volunteer Opportunity

Looking for enthusiastic and reliable teens (ages 15-up preferred, but younger candidates considered) and adult volunteers are invited to apply for Reading & Racquets, the summer reading and tennis program of the Boys & Girls Clubs, which will run from Tuesday, June 22 to Thursday, August 12, 2010.

The 23rd Annual Downtown Athletic Run and Racquet Julian King Clay Court Championships 

Charlottesville USTA Spring Season Starting in April
Teams from ACAC, Boar's Head, Farmington, Forest Lakes, Glenmore, Keswick, UVA, and Wintergreen are gearing up to participate in the upcoming 2010 USTA Charlottesville District Spring Season, which starts in mid-April.

You will also have the opportunity to volunteer for many local tennis events and programs.

To update our image and expand our scope, Charlottesville Tennis Patrons Association has changed our name to Charlottesville Area Tennis Association.  This year we've been busy growing tennis in our community and we plan on expanding our reach to nearby counties in the near future.  We wanted our name to reflect that goal.  We have also created this website, charlottesvilletennis.org, to keep the local tennis community up-to-date on what we've been up to and upcoming events and programs.  Whether you see Charlottesville Area Tennis Association, CATA (pronounced "kay-duh") or charlottesvilletennis.org, it's your HOME FOR TENNIS in Albemarle and six surrounding counties.
